The Heart of Peterbilt Medium Duty
Available with either the PACCAR PX-7 or the PACCAR PX-9, the 337 has the power to get the job done. The 6.7-liter PACCAR PX-7 Engine delivers superior performance, minimizes operational costs and maximizes uptime for medium-duty customers. Reduced maintenance, long service intervals and excellent fuel efficiency add up to a superior lifetime value. On the 337, the PACCAR PX-7 is available in horsepower ratings from 200 to 360hp and offers up to 800 lb-ft of torque.
The 8.9-liter PACCAR PX-9 Engine has one of the highest power-to-weight ratios in its class (260-380hp), with heavy-duty features like replaceable wet liners, roller cam followers, bypass oil filtration and targeted piston-cooling. Available in both medium- and heavy-duty configurations, PACCAR PX Engine options give customers in traditional Class 7, vocational or specialty applications industry-leading quality, reliability and fuel economy.

La cabine du modèle 337 est faite en aluminium très léger afin d’améliorer l’économie en carburant et offre une meilleure résistance à la corrosion pour une durabilité accrue.
Le capot Metton® est léger mais solide et il s’incline à 90 degrés pour faciliter l’accès aux points de service importants. La grille en acier inoxydable est durable et son design permet une protection supérieure du système de refroidissement du moteur.

Le modèle 337 présente une technologie d’avant-garde avec ses phares avant à haute intensité. Aussitôt derrière le volant, le conducteur saura qu’il est dans un camion de haut niveau. Les indicateurs rétroéclairés par DEL transmettent facilement le statut des systèmes et sont conçus pour réduire la fatigue visuelle.
L’écran standard intégré au tableau de bord affiche des indicateurs virtuels et des informations sur le camion, le voyage et la performance, et ce, en anglais, en français ou en espagnol. Les commandes optionnelles hybrides diesels-électriques fournissent au conducteur des rétroactions en temps réel, encourageant le style de conduite optimale et maximisant ainsi l’efficacité.
